Alyssa believes that honest storytelling has the power to create connection, foster compassion, and help people feel less alone. Through a blend of personal experience, practical insight, humor, and hope, she invites audiences to see familiar struggles through a new lens and leave with greater understanding of themselves and others.
With a background in education, years of experience supporting individuals and families in the disability community and lived experience within a neurodiverse family shaped by late diagnosis, Alyssa brings a unique perspective to every presentation. Her speaking explores topics including neurodiversity, marriage, parenting, communication, education, mental health, advocacy, and the emotional realities of navigating overwhelmed systems.
Whether speaking to educators, parents, support professionals, churches, community organizations, advocacy groups, or conference audiences, Alyssa approaches difficult topics with authenticity, warmth, and compassion. Rather than offering easy answers, she creates space for honest conversations that help people feel seen, understood, and equipped to build stronger relationships.
Alyssa is available for keynote presentations, workshops, school and staff in-services, conferences, podcasts, panel discussions, faith-based events, and community conversations.
